I ordered down and they were too small.
These are awesome sandles. I wear them almost everyday in the summer.
My first pair lasted almost 7 years.
Reviewed by LucySea from Louisiana on Monday, September 22, 2014For Chaco's, a year is way too soon for a strap to break. Also, I found this particular model to be always very squeaky, and also slippery when walking on a wet surface! For everyday wear they are okay (except for the squeak) but for frequent hiking they are not sturdy enough. I like the original type chaco's and will be buying that type.
Reviewed by Kate from Michigan on Wednesday, August 20, 2014I bought these for sailing, and with the wide sole and toe loop they are great in all conditions.
Shortly after getting them I broke my leg and have been non-weight-bearing for two months. I wear these most days when I need to leave the house, for the same reasons - they are steady and stable when standing or hopping on one leg.
The first couple of days I could feel the outer edge of the insole, but I don't notice it at all anymore - I suspect the support helps with the stability of the sandal.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bev from FL on Thursday, July 10, 2014I already had a pair of Yampas with the double straps, so I decided to try the Updrafts with the wide single strap. I love them both, but I think the edge goes to the single strap Updrafts. I love the way they look and feel.
I wear a size 6 in street shoes, and a 7 in most running shoes, but had to get a 5 in the Chacos after returning a 6 because it was too big.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kim from CT on Monday, June 23, 2014LOVE these!! Glad I did go back and order a smaller size though. I can wear these all day and my feet don't hurt!
Love my Chaco's! Had them only 1 week and went rafting in them on a very rocky terrian and they did their job great just as said. They also still look great to wear out casually too.Verified Buyer Reviewed by JCool from Mississippi on Saturday, June 21, 2014Love my Chaco's! Only had them 1 week and went rafting in them. Answer They're a dark pink - close to a magenta color. The detail on the side that says chaco is pink also.
