I have a pair of the classic chacos and thought if take a chance on the updraft. It was pretty much the best decision ever. They are so coushiony and comfortable. I recently got to try them out on a paddling trip and I'm hooked!

I love these shoes. I wore out my green ones and wanted to replace them with blue which is a color I wear more frequently. They are comfortable and perfect for a place like Maui or international travel such as Asia.

The toe loop feels more secure than without for rockhopping & wet conditions. The continuous strap makes them highly adjustable. Although I wish the heel strap could be tightened. They run slightly large and I have them cinched all the way. Otherwise very happy with them. Cute too!

These are lighter in weight but just as comfortable and supportive as older Chaco models. I find that I am much more comfortable in Chacos with a heel strap and toe loop. After two foot surgeries my right foot is wider and shorter than my left. With the adjustable straps I customize the fit on each foot separately. I admit that I have to with with the adjustment directions for each tweek, but they are on the inside of the box so it's hard to lose them. While reading about the webI found that Chacos are considered good for hyperpronators. This is true. Chaco sandals alone haven't cured my ITB agony but together with exercises, stretching, anti-inflammatories, etc., I feel much better and I can walk easily with an occasional pause to stretch. The blue strap is pretty and I like the two-tone sole. Now I'm looking for an updraft in brown.
