Chaco Updraft Sport Sandals (For Men)

I have had a pair of original chacos for about 5 years and they are still in decent condition, but I wanted to check out the new design which boasts 20% reduction in weight! That's a lot of weight for a shoe/sandal, and you can feel the difference! I will probably not wear my old chacos anymore.
I had a 12 in my old pair so I ordered that size for the Updraft, but they were too narrow for me. I exchanged the 12 for a 12 Wide and they fit pretty well (as well as my old chacos). My only complaint about any chacos I have worn is that after extended uninterrupted use (4-8 hours on your feet) your gonna get some chafes or blisters, but your feet get calluses if you wear them frequently.
One thing to note about the undraft, the joints where the heel strap connects to the main straps has a rubber piece where the old sandals had just a strap. Its a bit extra chafing from that rubber, but overall these are great for rainy days or watersports.
