I own these shoes and they're my absolute favorites. It's a fantastic cross between a Chaco sandal and a fleece lined boot. I LOVE these shoes and they're my go to shoes for whatever I'm doing. My feet are warm, my arches are well supported and I can walk all day in colder weather and my feet are... Read More

Third pair of Chacos. They seem to fit my high arch, skinny feet perfectly. And they look good too.

I read the other reviews and was nervous about the sizing. I normally wear a 5-5.5; however, I always buy boots in a size 6 to accommodate heavy socks in the winter. These fit fine. They are a bit stiff, but they look like they will be a good, sturdy alternative for winter wear.

With my recent plantar fasciatis issues, I could no longer wear my uggs slippers around the house because of the lack of arch support and heel cushion. These shoes have both of those in spades AND they're cozy on bare feet. Very high and firm arch support, like all chacos.

Chacos have the best support of any shoe I have ever worn. I can wear them all day and my feet love them. To find them at a great price at Sierra Trading Post was exciting. And with Sierra Trading Post's fast service I was wearing them in no time at all!

Left shoe presses against my fifth metatarsophalangeal joint. However, these shoes are genuine leathe and I feel this will likely stretch with wear. Also, it's likely a problem with my foot anatomy and not the shoe. These shoes keep my feet warm and dry and are a slip on style. This is exactly what I was looking for.

  • Question “Is the lining Genuine Shearling or Faux?

    • Answer I believe it is natural, not faux.
Answered on 7/10/2015 9:32:02 AM by Linda from San jose
    • Answer I can't definitively answer the question as I returned the shoes since they fit so poorly, but in my recollection, I believe they were faux. I didn't get the impression that it was genuine shearling.

    • Answer the brown was available with both natural and brown sheepskin lining. The black has black sheepskin only. They're great, cute, warm shoes, made by the "old" Chaco Co. They're won't be anymore - sigh.

    • Answer I don't know about the brown, but the black has a black fleece (shearling) liner. The shearling liner is only on the top of the shoe -- not the bottom (sole).

    • Answer I don't recall, sorry. I ended up returning these immediately because they were way too small. I would have gotten a size up instead, but they were sold out.
