Chaco Z/1 Unaweep Sandals (For Men)

This is my 4th pair of Z-1's. They are all still in use and I really like them and wear them every day as soon as it gets warm. Short of barefoot, they're the best.

My last chacos are finally starting to fall apart after 10 years of Desert camping and river running. I hope these new chinese made will stand the test of time. These have new design for the sole, I am hoping they work as well as the old ones

These are comfortable sandals that feel very secure on your feet. These are the second pair I purchased. This pair does not wrap around the toe like the previous pair. I did not like the toe wrap as it took too long to get adjusted properly. I really appreciate the the heavy duty soles for foot protection and stability.

Great sandal, high quality and wouldn't expect any less from Chaco. I have probably 6 pairs and always love them.

The strapping system is simple but elegant. After a short time learning how the tightening and untightening works, I have found them easy to put on and take off. Very comfortable for wearing throughout the day. An excellent price, too!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn!

I have these shoes and fell in love. Tested them in creek crossings, Smoky Mountains, rock climbing, etc. Great shoe so I bought a pair for my dad. I never went through a blister period at the beginning but I hear it's common. ...Oh, and great price. I've seen higher prices at other stores.

I love these they are remarkably comfortable once they are worn in. A little bulky to start but thats not a bad thing given how they feel after a bit of wearing!

I like to test my purchases for a decent length of time before commenting. In the case of my Chaco Z1, I have had them almost a year. Used them for hiking, at the beach, casual wear around town. Without question these are the best sandals I have ever had. Tried lots of brand name sandals, including the "original" trendsetter (4 letters, begins with T and ends with a), and lots of cheap knockoffs. Here is why I will gladly pay the higher price for Chaco in the future: 1) Amazing fit - the single continuous sliding strap allows great fit, and if conditions change (the straps get wet), a quick pull tightens it up. The 2 or 3 strap system used by other sandals drove me crazy trying to find a good balance. 2) Comfort - the foot bed has a good arch and firm (but not hard) cushion. Can walk all day with out aching feet. 3) Wear resistence - the Vibram outsole, quality straps, and great footbed give them outstanding durability.
