Chaco Z/1 Unaweep Sandals (For Women)

Great for any type of walking or hiking. I wore mine to the Grand Canyon. These sandals were perfect on the rough terrain.

Less than a year ago, Chaco sandals were made in Paonia, Colorado. Since that time they were bought out by a large corporation and are now made in China. I own 5 pairs of the Colorado sandals. I use them for everything from daily wear to backup footwear on long hikes. These (China) sandals have the same comfortable footbed and the straps are placed exactly the same as the Colorado-made sandals, but the materials seem to be of lower quality. The straps feel stiff and when I first put them on and the soles squeaked. I don't anticipate that these sandals will last as long as my first pair which I have had for about 7 years and still wear regularly. I would have given the Colorado sandals 5 stars. Because the materials seem shoddier in these, I'm only giving them 3.

I have not had any sandals in a long time, and I am very, very satisfied with these. There was no break in period.

These sandals are very comfortable, will be great while traveling and camping. Great arch support.

I used to LOVE these sandals. I wore them 4x's a week at least because they were so comfortable and were the only sandals that I could find that did not hurt my feet. Unfortunatly they were causing bone spurs to develop - I have never had these before and now have to live with these big bumps on the joint of my small toe. AUG!!! I did not know if I was prone to these spurs or not but these shoes sure cause them. Be warned.

This is my first pair of Chacos, but I had heard only good things. They felt a little tight and rubbed a bit for the first couple wears but now they feel great! They are easy to throw on, light, and stay on much better than flip flops.

This item is perfect for the River running we do. It allows the water in and out and gives the support I need to take short hikes.

After 10 years of using and abusing my old pair of Chacos I needed to replace them. These sandals are durable, comfortable, and cute. I am generally a wide 7.5-8 in other shoes and ordered the 7W and they fit perfect. The sole isn't as heavey as some Chacos.

These sandals are awesome for the mom that runs herself around the playground, and then a trek in the woods while pushing stroller, chasing young kids and walking a big dog. My foot stays in place while running and climbing and just plain walking. And they are stylish enough to wear shopping and out to a casual dinner. I wear between a 7.5 and 8 shoe, but ordered a 7 in hopes it would fit and it is a perfect fit. Great arch support, a must for my feet. i am not at all disappointed with the comfort and ease of adjusting the straps.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and often have feet that go from being normal one minute, to completely swollen the next. This sandal is great, as it allows me to make quick adjustments, and even when swollen, they're still incredibly comfortable. I would highly recommend them!
