Originally we bought our first pairs of Chacos when Teva stopped making their sandals in the US. However, it turned out to be the luckiest discovery for us. The strap on this sandal is one continuous piece so you can slide it through the sandwiched sole for a perfect fit - no rubbing! They have a quick release connector and no velcro that goes bad. They are completely comfortable, durable, washable, great for outdoor activities. These are the only "shoes" I wear and they last me a year or more. My wife wears hers non-stop all summer and her first pair are going on their 8th year!

A comfortable and simple sandle. Built rugged enough to be on the trail or river everyday.

Very comfortable and excellent value, these sandals hold the foot securely and have great traction.

This is my first pair of Chacos, and I only have had the sandals for about a week. They require some time to get the straps adjusted so they are not too tight and not too loose. One strap that is attached to the sole at the heel is chaffing my foot somewhat, but I hope this eventually quits as the sandals get broken in. Overall, they appear to be comfortable and can be worn all day--which is what I like.
