No matter how I adjusted these, I felt like I was standing on a huge ball. I know it was the arch support, which I usually like in most shoes. I couldn't imagine these ever being comfortable. I ordered a new pair of Tevas, which are like walking on clouds right out of the box.

They are 100x more secure on my foor than my Tevas ever were and the weight that I thought was going to be an issue is not. They fit like they
were made for me. I wear a 7.5 but ordered a size 8 and am super happy with the look and fit. I had ordered a pair for my husband for an upcoming
trip to Hawaii and he DOES NOT like change. I knew getting him out of his scuzzy Tevas was going to be difficult. He loved the fit and feel as much as me... thinking it will be a good weekend to throw out the Tevas.... -

I have high arches. The straps adjusted easily to fit my foot. Only thing I don't like is the buckle is now on the top of my foot rather than the side like in the picture, due to the adjustment. -

I live in them in the summer and I try to buy a couple of new ones at the end of the season when they are on sale (but they never wear out - I just like having new colors and patterns). All of mine are the ones with the toe "ring". This particular color is great - such a good color for jeans and stuff. And, as usual, they fit awesome. The arch support is incredible.
If you are new to Chaco's, it's best to try them on in a store (like at REI) and have the store clerk show you how to adjust them to custom fit your foot. It looks daunting on the box, but once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze - and you only have to do it once. Also, if you don't like the arch in the shoe to come up to your arch for support - do not get Chaco sandals! It would probably hurt someone with flat feet. I need that support and I find they fit so good I usually forget to tighten the strap and they still stay on wonderfully. -
