I have gone through several pairs of these sandals and I love them. Not much else to say. One thought: I have sent sandals back to be resoled and/or restrapped, and it's just not worth it. The last time I sent a pair in a full resole/restrap with shipping, etc. it was almost $70 and after a few months the soles delaminated! Sierra has great prices and a pretty good selection on these Chacos considering their "closeout" status, so just buy a new pair... Highly recommended!

These things are heavy duty! They were tight on my feet and so heavy that I sent them back. If you are going to do some harder-core hiking or outdoor activity, these might be for you. That said, they are not for the casual beachcomber; the soles weigh as much as combat boots; you might as well where ankle weights around to strengthen your calves. Love Chacos, but sent these back.
