I have taken them on multiple hikes around my house and other little adventures and they hold up super well and are a great fit. Can withstand anything, would definitely recommend for anyone thinking of buying.

I like the straps, since they are one piece looped through the sole you can adjust them so they are most comfortable for you in each area. They are also good when swimming or walking in water, you foot won't slip around in the sandal when they get wet. things you should know: the sole is very firm, it's comfortable and very supportive, and I've had no problems walking around in them, but don't expect squishy foam they have to be broken in and adjusted, they are more like hiking boots than sandals, take a few days to adjust the straps and get used to wearing them before doing any hard activities, once they are adjusted right they are comfortable enough to wear all day. they're also easy to clean, I take mine with me in the shower, get some soap or shampoo on the while you're rinsing off then rinse them off before you get out,

Adjusting the straps is straight forward. Even though it may feel heavy when holding them in your hands, you will not notice the weight when you put them on. The foot bed is so unique, it supports as well as if it massages the sole of your feet. The design of the sandals seems to give you a lift in your stride with each step that is taken... Loved them from the New River gorge to AT hiking to the the beach great sandal. When mine wore out the style was no longer available, heavy sigh. I have been disappointed with the various styles till now, finally a narrow band style that's comfortable as well as tough.
