This is my first pair of Chacos and I'm very pleased! I like that the straps are adjustable to work with your own feet. We went hiking the other day and I did not notice any slipping and they felt sturdy to walk in. Also like that I don't have to worry about puddles - within a few minutes these sand...

Took a while for me to get used to them on my feet and I had some problems with the arches fitting my feet properly, but after a few "break in" wears I LOVE THEM! You have to find the right strap tightness to keep your foot in the proper place. Would recommend to buy!

I purchased these after my last pair of Chaco's lasting over 7 years (Hipthongs), only meeting their demise at the mercy of a new puppy. The sole is and tread are much improved over my last pair and over comfort and great traction. The foot bed is contoured with arch support and fits my large feet well. Having the ankle strap adds a couple seconds to putting them on, but creates infinitely more stability in use. I wear sandals almost every day and it's important that I can go from driving, to walking, to hiking, to kayaking, to moving furniture (up and down stairs), to climbing ladders in a sandal. This sandal handles all of that with much more security than other brand and models. Make sure you read the instructions on how to first fit them to your fit and put them on. Otherwise, you may be an unhappy camper.

I typically wear a 9 in Keens, a 38 R in birkenstock Arizona's and a 39 R in birkenstock Boston's. I ordered a 9 R and a 9 W in this shoe, the length fit perfectly. Chaco's seem to be made for a narrow foot but I was still able to wear them and didn't see a whole lot of difference between the wide and regular widths and kept both the hipthong R and the Z/1 W. It doesn't feel as good as my birkenstocks but does have good arch support, much better than keens and it is a good choice for wet conditions when you can't wear your birks.

I found this shoe to be a good fit for my feet. I wear an 11 and have a very narrow foot. I was worried that the base would be too wide, but I found it to be a good fit. They are highly adjustable and the straps really made my feet feel securely supported. I wore these while hiking up the Bright Angel Trail out of the Grand Canyon from Pipe Creek and the only issue I had was when I got some sand between my feet and the straps and ended up with some chafing.

Absolutely, and much more than any other sandal I've owned.

Yes, Chaco sandals provide wonderful arch support. Only sandal I have found that does. I am standing and on my feet all day and prefer Chaco sandals over any other shoe. My sister has flatter arches than I do, and she finds them almost too much arch support. Some of their more casual styles seem to have less arch?

YES!!! I feel these have incredible arch support, especially for a sandal. My feet always tend to get sore where my arch and heel meet and these have great support. I am looking forward to happy feet this summer!
