Chaco Z/2 Yampa Sport Sandals (For Men)

These sandals live up to their reputation of having good support, and comfortable to walk in. My other sandals are leather Birkenstocks, which aren't good for damp conditions-- these are. I look forward to wearing them around town, and at the beach. And they're comfortable enough to hike in.

I use these sandals for hiking, rafting, and other outdoor activities. They are great sandals and are made with great material. The only complaint I have is that I have to cinch the strap down all the way in order to keep them from falling off my feet. I wear size 10 in all of my other shoes, and my size 10 chacos fit fairly well (they are about 3/4 of an inch longer than my toes in the front, which feels right for sandals). But the strap seems like it was made for a size 11 or 12 foot. It is a fixable problem (better too long than too short), but still a bit disappointing since I haven't had problems with any other sandals I have bought.

I got these shoes for camp time while on river rafting trips. They work great for that, but I find myself wearing them all the time now! I like the adjustment strap for taking them off and on, better than similar shoes I've had in the past. These are my new favorites.

The wide width was a great find for my husband who has wide feet. He is very happy with the fit. Chacos are a good brand for river walking.

I am using the Chaco sandals as a main area of footwear for my counseling job this summer and for hiking around the UK this coming fall. They have wonderful arch support, are comfortable, are cute, and are very durable. I am not used to the weight, but I recognize it as a necessary thing.
