Got these as a gift for my husband in the brown Perspective color. He wears about a 12.5 - 13 in shoes, but these 12 fit him perfect after adjusting the straps. Nice color, they look good on him. The soles aren't the most grippy; in the past we've had other Chaco's with grippier soles (forget the style but they had chunkier grip), but these are fine for regular use if not really hiking or going on adverse terrain or slippery weather conditions. Overall great quality, and of course great price with deal flyer on STP. :)

I've owned several pairs of Chaco sandals over the past seven years, particularly the Unaweep and Mrap models. However, the Yampa model has a much lighter footbed. It's designed for less technical terrain, but I think it would work fine on a day hike or outdoor adventure. I've had other models with the toe loop, but this one is probably the most comfortable one I've put on. Really enjoy wearing these. Plus, I got them for only $55!!!

Chacos are the human call for Adventure. With their versatile design and incredible support the toe looped Chacos should be part of everyone's wardrobe. They are extremely comfortable, and they really make you feel like the Greek God Hercules no joke. In my fraternity chapter specially during spring we have a ton of outdoor activities and Chacos are just perfect for BBQ , beach fun, or even going on a hike. Now you can't go on a run on, but they are perfect for after you have run. They do not support your feet and ankles while running. The concept of wearing a recovery sandal to relax the plantar fascia and other muscles in the foot is a popular one among ultrarunners, and nothing takes care of your feet better than a pair of Chacos.

Make sure you like these when you buy them, because they'll last forever (and you can resole them). I plan to live in mine this summer.

i've worn chacos around the world. in cities and in country. my first pair lasted 6 full summers. they are one of my best finds. not just in footwear but everything. 'd like a little liter softer version with the arch moved forward as i have to adjust to a season in them then back to full footwear as chaco believes the arch should be supported further back than most makers. i'm aware of there new lighter sandal but they messed up with the hard plastic/rubber peices holding the straps below the ankle. i prefer the yampa but don't need it so thick, solid and strong. it's ok with me if a sandal doesn't last 6 years of steady use 6 months each year like i did. hjope this makes sense and is helpful.

I got my chacos recently and have only used them a couple of times out in nature once to hike to a quarry that I swam in and another to do some wet wading stream fishing. So far they have definitely performed up to expectations. The strap system takes a bit of figuring out but no big deal. Overall I think its definitely a good buy.

I bought these for my son. We have to order online because he wears a 14. He loves these shoes! They fit great, look great and can take the abuse a 200lb 6'2 16 year old can throw at them. Saved a bunch and that makes Mom love them even more!

This is my first pair of Chacos, though i have owned a pair of Merrels for almost 12 years that strap identically. The Merrels were alsway my favorite sandals so I bought the Chacos since they were very simialr in design. The one strap system is infinately adjustable so it is easy to get a good fit. so far i really like them.
