    I wanted these sandals for support during light hiking. The photo on the product page looked like there was a back strap around the heel. I was disappointed to find upon their arrival that the sandals did not have a strap. Being more of a flip flop, they would not meet my needs so I gave them to a friend. She loves them. Please check out the photo that also shows the bottom of the shoe. The color stripe on the bottom of the shoe can lead the eye to believe that there is a strap when infact there is not.

    A bit difficult to adjust - I've had several Chaco's. Feels a bit odd at the heel but still comfortable and stable for a sandal without a heelstrap.
