These work well for my kids. They do not have particularly high arches, or wide feet. I'd say my kids feet are average. These stay on them so well, they can run and play easily. Also great in the river and wading, they stay put.

I normally wear a size 8 in women's shoes and when I saw how inexpensive the child size Chacos were, I decided to take a chance. Using their fitting guide, I determined a size 6 ought to be just right, and it is! I love how easy it is to adjust the straps and they're comfortable from the moment I put them on. I have another pair with the toe loop, and find that without the toe loop my foot does tend to slide forward a bit while walking, but it's not uncomfortable, nor do I feel like i will slide off the sole. I LOVE the cushion in the sole, too! My other pair is much stiffer. Now I have two pairs of Chaco's and can highly recommend them to everyone!

“I am trying to adjust the top strap over the toes. It is way too big for my daughter. I've followed the diagram in the box top but it appears that the diagram doesn't match the type of shoe we have. We are going to Ghana, Africa soon and are planning to take these shoes with us. Thank you for your help!”
