Because it is a clearance item, I was unable to order a larger size, but it can be worn around the waist of a dress as well as down on the hips as for jeans...I love the materials and was very pleased with the price.

This is a great belt. Expensive at full price, but no more so than other high-end designer western belts. A steal at STP's sale price. The star and rope metal work provides a classic western design, and the moderate sized buckle registers low on the gaudy scale. The color, accurately represented on the website photo, allows the belt to work with black, blue or brown. It'll wear with denim, khakis, or dress slacks. Buy a size larger than waist size. I'm a 36-37. The 38 works for me but barely.

I wear this belt for casual dress but it could be worn in less casual settings where western wear is common attire. It is a beautiful, rich color and the engravings on the stars, ropes and buckle add a classic western look. I especially like the tasteful (non-gaudy) buckle. I can't recall what color the website uses to describe this belt, but I thought it was somewhat misleading. I almost decided not to buy it because of the description but did so anyway based on the photo. The photo color is accurate and I'm delighted with the product. Note re sizing: Like most belts, you'll need to buy one size larger. I'm a 36-37 waist size, and I ordered a 38 because that's what was available. I wear it at the second hole so it's acceptable but not ideal.

western wear for country concerts

Got this for my husband, who bought his first pair of cowboy boots this year for Stampede - I am delighted, because the belt will complement the boots very nicely. Very well made, nice design, very secure detailing - quite a dressy item without being gaudy/flashy which he wouldn't like. I can see him wearing this belt year round, not just during Stampede.

Even though this belt said for men I liked the detailing & the mix of gold & silver metals for the belt buckle, keeper & star detailing. I bought in the smallest size available which fits just fine. Belt is not so wide as to overwhelm a flared jean skirt & will go very well with the boots I own. I expect many complements when I wear this to Stampede breakfasts.

I was surprised on the High Quality Workmanship, that I bought a second one right away. The Price is was too good. Everyone notices my Belt.

It fits OK, and I have got some compliments already, not exactly my style but I wanted to try something new and I like it I also will try it with a linen safary-style dress which is a bit loose in the waist.
