The adjustable straps are a bit difficult to adjust if you are in a hurry. Once you do, the lateral motion is very stable.

I use these sandals for hiking, rafting, and other outdoor activities. They are great sandals and are made with great material. The only complaint I have is that I have to cinch the strap down all the way in order to keep them from falling off my feet. I wear size 10 in all of my other shoes, and my size 10 chacos fit fairly well (they are about 3/4 of an inch longer than my toes in the front, which feels right for sandals). But the strap seems like it was made for a size 11 or 12 foot. It is a fixable problem (better too long than too short), but still a bit disappointing since I haven't had problems with any other sandals I have bought.

These sandals live up to their reputation of having good support, and comfortable to walk in. My other sandals are leather Birkenstocks, which aren't good for damp conditions-- these are. I look forward to wearing them around town, and at the beach. And they're comfortable enough to hike in.

every thing about this shoe is great, style, comfort, arch support and wear. have had them for years and wouldn't buy anything else.

The straps on one of the sandals are wrong, one side is too loose, the other side is too tight. This causes the straps to pull your heel off of the shoe. I sent back the first one, re-ordered and had the exact problem on the second pair. They are good looking sandals and I love Chaco but be warned there are serious issues with manufacturing QA on this one.

I live in the country. I have a mud room where people drop their shoes as they enter the house, I love slip on shoes for that reason.

Once you get used to the continuous strap and break the sandals in, they are awesome for everything. My family wears these sandals for water, hiking, biking, back country, you name it...until it is too cold to wear sandals anymore!

I use the product for casual, as well as going out.

I have had fibromyalgia for more than 20 years which often times makes walking, shopping, going to dog shows and theme parks painful; however, I love these shoes (my third pair) and they have virtually alleviated my joint pain associated with these activities and I will NEVER wear any other shoes for these activities. Keep making hipthong.

Bought these just before a florida trip. Straps were a bit tight and caused chaffing for the first day. After getting them wet they loosened up and felt great. I have back and foot problems so these were a perfect fit for what i needed. Super comfortable my feet smile when i wear them. Would love to see a wider width option as they are a little narrow for my fat feet. Excellent purchase overall.
