My kids all have head circumferences close to the 50th percentile and it fits my 6 year old, my 4 year old and my 1 year old (with the bottom edge rolled up once). I suspect it won't fit my oldest in a few years- its probably ideal for preschool or early elementary aged kids. The design is simple and neutral- looks nice on both my son & daughters. The fleece lining is soft against their ears and makes the hat much warmer than several others from Sierra Trading post that we've tried. I'm returning those and ordering another one of these!

It is fleece lined in addition to the outer knit layer so nice and soft and not itchy. Also thick and warm! We live in Minnesota and finding a thick hat to keep my kids warm when temps are single digits and below zero can be difficult. Couldn't be happier with this hat. I'm considering ordering another one!
