The wool is light, breathable and soft (no itch) but the brim is doubled to keep my ears warm. This is a men's hat but looks quite feminine, at least in the pink color. The size fits my fairly small women's head generously but I think if you have a large hat size you might find it too small/short to stay on well.

This is the perfect cold weather beanie, just snug enough around the ears to keep the wind out without being too tight. The fabric is thin enough for warmth without bulk . Color is true to the illustration and very nice. All in all, a great hat for the price, and I plan to order another in a different color.

I contacted STP to see if I could get information on the then many missing images and they were helpful but the delay to get the information to me would have let the current 45% sale pass by so I guessed based on the Chaos catalog which didn't match one for one really.
Anyway, the Lipstick and Bean Green caps are similar in pattern and feature multiple varied width horizontal bands around the cap in complimentary colors. To me they are the coolest pattern/color combos for these hats and I suggest you throw one of each in your basket.
Liptstick has Red, hot pink, orange and black
Bean Green has dark green, neon green, forest green and black.
Now to the hats, these are great quality and 100% Merino. Nice and soft. They fit right to my skull when pulled mostly over the ears unlike a few others here (that I also bought!) that are longer and meant to be folded over. These you don't want to fold because of the patterns so the fit is just right.
If you've never worn a Merino cap you don't know what your missing. They are by far the most efficient warmest hats you can get and so super soft too. They don't absorb odors if your out there sweating either.
I got one of each pattern except the flowered ones which I just can't pull off as a dude, the lipstick band one is about as far as I can go! ?
