Charles Nolan Waffle Coat - Wool (For Women)

Very stylish

We've lost a gifted designer with the recent passing of Charles Nolan. I'm thrilled to own another of his creations. I have several other pieces by him. I'm always asked, "Who are you wearing?"

I got this based on a number of good reviews. It is beautifully-made and nice wool, but it is definitely a spring coat--short sleeves and not very warm. Others have mentioned that the back slit goes about up to your mid back. All that said, I would keep it as a spring coat except...it really looks kind of frumpy. I am slim and fairly tall, but I look pretty dumpy in it.

I've been eyeing this coat for 2 years now, so I finally caved in and bought it. I'm so pleased! The photo does not do this coat justice, I'm surprised it hasn't sold out yet. It's a stunning, unique and exquisitely crafted coat - truly a timeless classic. The back vent provides an interesting design element and the fabric is like butter - surprising considering it's wool. Can be worn either open or closed with jeans or with a LBD, anything goes. Being a spring/fall coat I'm sure I'll be trying it on all winter in anticipation of warmer weather! Would be a perfect all season coat in warmer climates.

very well-crafted elegant coat. the back vent length should be noted, as it extends from mid-back to hem...so perhaps not a good choice for the fuller hipped, nor someone looking for a very warm coat.

This coat is awesome. I have yet to wear it, but look forward to going out in it. As someone with long limbs and a petite frame, the fit (size 4) is perfect to go over a thin wool sweater. Very stylish.

I've been looking for a stylish cream coat for years - and, finally, this is it! The waffle fabric is lightweight and should be perfect in the south. The fit and design are exceptional. The price for such a well-made coat is wonderful, too!

I get comments from strangers when I'm out wearing this coat; what great style it has.
