Chefs Colorful Earthenware Canisters - Set of 3

I ordered these in the 'watermelon' color (since sold out?) with a little apprehension that they might not be a true red. But they are -- the color is nice and deep. The canisters are a good shape and size, easy to scoop out of, yet they don't take up too much space/height on the counter. There are rubber gaskets on the lids to help them seal airtight; the large lid's gasket is too thin on my set to actually provide a seal. However, this is a minor issue and not a deal-breaker for me. I looked a long time for red canisters that weren't retro or countrified and I am happy with the modern-ish look of these.

Adds a counter top blue to a blue and white kitchen without being intrusive. Lids are easy to remove. Three sizes are excellent.

The two smaller canisters are being used to store sugar and coffee. The larger one makes excellent storage for wooden spoons, spatulas, etc. My only disappointment is a picky detail. The color at the rims of the canisters are not the same so that a tiny bit more cream color shows on some but not all.
