Chefs Seaside Pendant Lamp - Small

We got creative and were able to hang these in our not really tall ceilings, but it took several trips to the hardware store

The lamps are beautiful and heavy duty! I purchased 6 in bronze color and am very satisfied with the make, the style, and the quality. They are a little larger and a little taller than I thought they would be but they are very classy and I will make them work. Also there are several solid rods that the electrical cord fits through that hang off the ceiling, so you might want to check the minimum height of the lamp hang before purchasing this product if you do not have a high ceiling. The lamps are worth more than the price and I was thinking about buying more and selling them in the local paper. The lamp is nicer than the picture online. I am very happy with the purchases. Also, sierratradingpost has an excellent return policy if the lamps don't work for you just in case.

Contrary to other reviews, professional installation is not necessary for anyone with basic electrical knowledge. This light is very well designed except for the threads which attach the grid and glass covering the bulb. After numerous attempts to screw on the grid, we leveled the thread plate on the light fixture itself and finally were successful. The excellent quality of this light and its nautical design complement our seaside home.

nice lamp, ignore length. it comes with 4 extensions that screw together. just use as many as you need or leave them off entirely which is what i did with the 2 i bought for my 10ft kitchen/dining area

I ordered two. They are beautiful, larger than I expected, sleek and substantial. But when I opened the boxes and inventoried the contents against the "what's included" list, there were parts missing, specifically, the uppermost section of the lamp (and associated hardware bits) that would connect it to a ceiling box. Also, the instructions said a professional electrician was required. Best I could tell, you could probably make do without the missing parts (the electrician could get substitutes), but for a lamp of this lovely style, the aesthetics at the ceiling level might be off. I decided I didn't want the hassle and returned them. If I was more motivated, I'd have taken the gamble.

Best for a vaulted ceiling. I installed over my kitchen island and just shortened it. Beautiful fixture, great buy!

I purchased this lamp for the kitchen and had to return it because it is too long. You really need to have a high ceiling for this to work. With a normal size home ceiling the lamp extends down to nearly 3 - 4 feet off the ground. Nice lamp otherwise. Not as high end as other reviewers mentioned. Just looks like a standard pendant lamp built very solidly and heavy. Also, the bulb might be a chore to change since you need to remove a metal grate and a glass enclosure.

I ordered 2 small and 1 large and they were bigger than I expected but nice lights. I planned on using 2 small over my kitchen sink but they are too large. Nice lights but can't imagine who would pay retail for them! I would have a lamp made for that cost! But nice price on here. Coordinates w/ other lighting we have at our beach house. Note: the length indicated on the description is misleading. You can take off sections of the tubing pole to hang it shorter if you want.
