Good for everyday use, though smallish bowl likely demands frequent refilling. Bowl might actually serve best as toothpick disposal for items served on the plate, which is large by comparison, but has a raised lip to prevent spills. Hawthorne berry design is simple and quaint, though a bit rough, but the white lining on the bowl is a bit out of sync with the overall beige. On the plus side, berries are not so bright that the set would be limited to winter holidays. I like it, and my giftee will probably like it as well, but this is not a gift for everyone. Recommended with reservations.

This is a beautiful gift for a wedding or shower. With the added message it makes eating fun.

I bought this for a gift for my sister and I know she will like it. As a previous reviewer said the dip bowl is a little small but overall it is a great product.
