My super huge, heavy, bombproof, water proof messenger bag just soooo overkill. This bag perfect for set of scrubs, mini towel, and supper (I commute to hospital 32 miles RT three times a week). I have a huge zip closure liner for rain and sweat protection. It is light but the design and quality sti... Read More

I chose this as a great travel item.. to stuff things for road trips, or grab a few items for a hike.. or a quick bag for camping.
Nice and light and roomy, strap adjusts great for cross-body.. nice self-pocket to fold into when not needed, so great to just stow in your vehicle for whatever may come along (yard sale, farmers market, etc).
The rust color is great.. not too feminine for my husband not to blah for me.

I was thinking of returning this, but paid so little that it's probably not worth it. I'm just not sure how I'll use it. I'd want something sturdier to carry books, something pouchier to carry clothes, something more bag-like for groceries. Plus, it's hard to see anything dark against a black background. Oh, well - took a chance. Maybe it'll end up being useful for something.

I bought this as a carry along when I travel for work. I like to have my 'big' purse for the plane but than am irritated carrying it around all day. This bag is perfect for a lightweight swap out after I reach my destination.

Throw it into a purse or bag. You will never have to worry about using poorly constructed store bags again. A great travel purse, when a backpack is just too casual. Love it!

    • Answer It is not waterproof. The flap only folds over the opening and is held in place with a magnet. The seams are not sealed.||It is somewhat splash-proof in that water will bead on the fabric but I expect it would wet out in rain. I would line it with a plastic bag.
