Chippewa Country Work Boots - Waterproof, 6" (For Men)

my husband needed a good traction boot that was water proof and warm. We sometimes get snow here in Prescott, and he walks our dogs 8 times a day! He needed extra width, and these fit the bill perfectly!

Boots fit fine, however I was very disappointed to discover that the boots are not made in the USA as advertised. They are not marked as to any origin, and the stitching and construction is clearly imported. (i.e. tongue design). If they were really made in America, they would be proudly marked as made in America. The only reference is a mention of American components.

Boot is comfortable-USA made and comes wide(EEE) which is hard to find at a reasonable price. They stay dry and look pretty sharp. Construction is tough. I use them as a tractor trailer driver and they suit me well. I think with a heavy sock they will be suitable in the snow and cold.

Returned the product because inside lining was not breathable and could feel stitching/construction seams/folds through it, causing a rub against my foot.

I am a carenter and on my feet all day. These boots are comfortable all day long.

I use these boots mostly for working around the yard. They are comfortable and easily donned. I specifically wanted to avoid boots with the deeply lugged soles because they collect so much dirt/mulch/leaves/grass for tracking into the garage. These boots have a mild pattern that quickly self clean by walking on the yard. The last is very sturdy and provides good foot support when I am using a hand shovel in this nice rocky New England soil! Finding a US made boot in wide sizes is very satisfying.
