    These are strictly work boots. I like the fact that they waterproof, and I have tested them out. The one negative is for a unlined boot they tend to be a little warm for my working conditons.

    work boots for field work in mountain terrain. fit and felt good right out of the box. waded ankle deep streams so far, water beads off. rubbed on my shin at tongue/collar. tied one notch lower and fixed that. comfortable footbed and sole doesn't load up with mud.
