    i ordered a size 6 based on everyone's positive comments and fell in love until i tried them on - even with my thickest socks on they were very long, the arch support was back too far - about half under my heel, and the tongue was very still and bruised my ankle during the few hours i wore them around the house. quite uncomfortable for me and i was sad because they are really good looking boots.

    The flap on the tongue rubs constantly - I see no way that this would get better over time, since it is a design issue. The pair I received also had one shoe darker (treated) than the other. I had the return the product, which was a bummer. This was the best product I found for winter. Still searching.

    These boots fit right out of the box. Better than the $189 ones I bought from a major retailer. Not too stylish but they are comfortable for extended periods of walking over rought terrain.
