    I hate to say this, but I found these unwearable. Everything is good about them except the seam where the tongue attaches to the shaft, which is like a stiff sharp cardboard ring. I put them on --the toe box is roomy, size is good or a little wide. But this stiff edge would have made my ankles raw, even with fat socks. I don't see how anyone can wear them. I sent them back.

    Happy with my purchase. I sometimes buy size 7.5 b/c my feet are so wide, but these fit fine as 7W. Good sole and nicely constructed-- these should last me a few years or more. They don't get a five cause they are a cross between work boot and stylish hiking boot. I'm still looking for the perfect work boot for women and still waiting.

    These boots are stiff to begin with but break in quickly. They are supportive, fit my feet extremely well and are comfortable enough to wear all day. We live in the country and spend a lot of time working with animals. These have become my favorite barnyard boots.
