Robe is generously cut so be sure to take that into account while ordering. The s/m size was great for me but i usually wear a women's large. The Turkish cotton is a nice heavy weight but not too bulky. Loved using it after my shower.

I probably should have foreseen that it would be very warm and I'm sure I'll love that in January. But now I have to find something lightweight for the summer and have two robes taking up space in the closet. Darn. I ordered a size larger than my usual based on prior reviews and am glad I did-- the fit is perfect.

We bought 2, his & hers. The sizing for men is spot on. It's a little larger fitting for women, so go a size down. For instance, if your a woman who wears a medium, you might try the next size down. I am a woman who does wear medium, but since that size wasn't available, I went ahead with the medium. It fits fine. It is a little roomy, but just a little. Unlike the "tents" that were disguised as robes and could fit two or three people in them, this robe fits one person at a time. We are thrilled with how warm and soft they are. We appreciate the natural material since our last robes were pretty much made of polyester. The color is holding after one wash. No shrinkage that we could notice. There were a few stray strands, but this is a cotton product. It's terry cloth! It's gonna happen. Take your scissors and cut them off. Now move on. Very happy with this purchase. I hope these robes last for a few years.

Reviewed by amac from new york on Wednesday, April 17, 2013I thought this was a terry material, but there was an added element of bamboo? and it made the material feel slick - which probably means less absorbent...and that is the preferred quality of terry that i like...so i sent it back and will look for a full cotten terry robe...also kimono style sleeve as opposed to cuffed and straight....

Because of it being for men and women, it is a tad big, but I don't mind. Very soft and snuggly. I am pleased with the purchase.

However, when the second one arrived, the collar was frayed, and not even stitched at the back. The seams inside were also frayed. The quality control is lacking on this product. I did request a replacement, so I hope that one has been checked better before shipment.
