No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Really soft and luxurious feel and beautiful color. The size is much smaller than the bath towels I'm accustomed to. I don't use the large bath sheets but my other towels are about 4 inches wider than these. The length is about the same, but I really miss that width. Also, I made the mistake of using this towel before laundering it, and my entire body was covered with black lint. Lesson learned. Even after washing, there is still a bit of a lint problem but that seems to be par for the course with good, soft towels. These would be great for a children's bath but they're a little small for adult use.
