Great wading boots at an amazing price. Lacing system is quick and easy and the boots are comfortable, light and have great support. Thanks STP for another great product at an unbeatable price.

Being difficult to fit, wading boots have always caused me problems. Chota boots are wonderful, comfortable to walk in and stable to wade in.
This pair from STP will be stored until needed. The closeout price was terrific. STP undertook the extra effort to send me the correct size. I am a happy customer.

I've had a pair of Chota's for a can't remember how long and they've been great. Held up very well. I've resoled them a couple of times over the years. I've tried two different pairs of rubber soled wading boots, Cabelas & Simms) and not very happy with the traction I get. The Cableas were like walking on slick ice and adding carbine studs helped but not as much as I would like. The Simms with the tar cleats are pretty good but still not as good as felt in rocky streams I fish in western and central PA.

When I saw these Chota's for this price I couldn't pass up the chance to get the right size this time!

I tried this boot becasue the Orvis boot I have is like walking on a piece of 2x4 and in a rocky bottom river it makes wading hazzardous. Unfortunately this boot was almost as ridig, Sorry as looked lovely. There must be a boot like those of ages past where sole flexes and molds to the river bottom and stabilizes the wearer.

I've tried all the big name boots and these have lasted far better than any. At 300lbs. I'm tough on shoes and boots so I'd say these boots have far exceeded my expectations and would wear even longer for a "normal" size person. I bought this pair as an exact replacement of my current boots (if they ever wear out).
