I was hesitant to buy shoes of this type without trying them on. Nevertheless, I was surprised by the fit and comfort these offered. I have used them for two weeks in snow and hiking around my ranch. I like the waterproof aspect and the way the tongue protects the front of the foot. This is a good value.

I've had a lot of Clarks shoes over the years and they are generally comfortable out of the box and durable. Not these. After one hour of a casual lunchtime walk, the treads were wearing off and I had blisters on my ankle; there's some kind of scratchy material in the heelcup/ankle area. They are also kind of long, giving you a bozo the clown appearance. Stay away.

Decent boot. I haven't had them long but I will keep them. Seem like a good recreation shoe. I work trails and I expect they will make 1/2 a season or so. 30 -60 miles a week plus lots of rock work. Fluffy synthetic lining, I expect will wear , especially if wet.
