“Heed the warnings about the leather upper being stiff and rubbing against your toes! This is a major problem, and caused painful blisters. Other optimistic reviewers stated this issue would resolve once the leather softened, but I'm not so sure. I am NOT one of those ding-dong women who thinks it's ok to require bandaids to protect one's feet. Conversely, the footbed is SUPER comfortable and gives enough support for walking, but the pain of the upper digging into top of foot negates that positive. Overall, the shoe is cute, but conservative. I am disappointed b/c I hold such high regard for Clarks. There are plenty of other similar sandals that don't hurt your skin.”
