    Thought at the low price, it would be kind of a knock-around type of sweater. But it is really high quality...thick and tight weaving, and material is heavier than expected. Color is more muted than picture shows.

    When I don't find what I want in the women's sweaters, I browse the men's for anything in a small, and this was just what I was looking for - the colors are "go with anything" and in nicely muted shades - haven't washed it yet so can't answer that question, but it looks and feels as if it will wash well.

    Fabric doesn't show well in the picture... lighter brown is a brown on white horizontal herringbone; darker brown is actually a multi-earthtone on white horizontal pattern, almost like worn corduroy. Sleeves true to length, torso was short and more than a full size small, neck was tight. Seems well-constructed, but completely sized wrong.
