"earth" shoe heel lower than regular shoe design seems ok. comes with second even lower insert which I used to replace the worn out insoles in my Bean's cresta hikers!!!

They feel more comfortable than expected and I really like the look. The laces are better quality than most shoes of this type too.

My ankles collapsed inward and it was physically uncomfortable to take a step in them. From the other reviews, however, it seems like I'm an isiolated case.
