this well-priced jacket was nicer than I expected--durable material, stylish, and versatile. Goes well w/jeans or a skirt. I have been impressed by the quality of Cloudveil products for years.

I really wanted to like this jacket. The western style stitching is sweet and the green color is nice. I also love the zipped pockets. The only downside about the jacket (and the reason I returned it), is that it doesn't have the most flattering fit. I ordered the smallest size, but it was still a bit baggy. I prefer more of a fitted coat, so I was a little disappointed. It's still a cute jacket though - and a great price.

I already have this jacket in the green and just purchased the lighter color for a friend. The jacket is great quality for the $$$, although beware that it is fairly lightweight. I only wear mine in +55-60 degree weather.

I bought this jacket when it was marked down to a ridiculously low sale price, solely because it was cute, I liked the color, and figured that for [$], I couldn't go wrong.Well - maybe just a little wrong. Because it's such a lightweight jacket, it's usefulness will be limited to those short shoulder seasons here in Boise...you know, those two weeks a year where it's just perfect for capris and a light jacket. For a fin and a sawbuck, I'm okay with that.What I'm conflicted about is the weirdly long sleeve length - the rest of the jacket fits me perfectly, but the sleeves almost cover my knuckles, and it doesn't look like they're designed to be rakishly rolled back, either. I might have to whip out the ol' Singer and do some modification before that spring shoulder season rolls around....

Nice jacket. I really do like it. Nice features and the fabric has an interesting texture, almost linen-like. Only problem is that it attracts dirt, but it cleans well. Wish it had a hood.

At the time of this review this jacket is on a killer sale price. STP only has one color called willow on this date, and on my computer screen it looks like an awkward yellow color, but I buy lots of Cloudveil, and I know they usually do a good job with their colors, so I decided to take a chance on the killer price, and it's a really nice shade of spring green. Kind of a light olive or maybe lemon-lime, but not overly bright, pale, or drab. I like it. The jacket has a bit of a western style with a woven look to the fabric.. It's very springlike. I bought both the medium and large, so I can wear the medium as a light jacket over a sleeveless top without it being too bulky, but the large will work for over a medium layer for more warmth. The shoulders fit a bit more snugly than Cloudveil athletic jackets, and probably it's because it doesn't have the raglan sleeves those usually do. It's a slightly trim fit overall for Cloudveil--not just in the shoulders, but not as trim as the Headwall. The construction is Cloudveil's usual great quality, and the fit is also typical Cloudveil style. Definitely recommended.

I wasn't too sure about the color, willow, but that was the only color available in my size and at this price I decided I couldn't go wrong. It is very nice, well made and goes well with jeans and several shirts that I have. I knew I couldn't go wrong with this brand.
