Closeouts. The Cloudveil 8X wading boot is ready to slough through the streams and rivers with a lightweight felt sole and protective, durable construction. Choose between two insoles (4mm and 8mm) so you can wear with or without waders.
These boots perform great in the water and the fit is nearly perfect for my foot. They are very comfortable. The issues I have with them are these: The felt sole wears down super quick and that on the second day that I wore them the cross bracing webbing that the laces go through borke while lacing up with not much pressure. Good boots but aren't built to last.

I only received these boots last week but have hit the rivers hard over the last couple of days and I'm quite impressed with these boots. They are the lightest wading boot I have ever owned, are very comfortable when walking (and I do a lot of walking) and provide the support I need when wading in rocky areas.

First when I received these boots I was quite excited. They looked good, were very lightweight and I couldn't wait to hit the river. However, I was skeptical with the fabric loop holes for the laces.
Unfortunately, during my first Altantic Salmon fishing trip in Newfoundland and Labrador in a few years, the fabric loop hole for the laces on one of my boots ripped shortly after I was in the water the first day I used these boots. In addition, I found the soles of the boots very uncomfortable when standing on rocks even with the second insole inserted.
Overall, I was not very impressed with the boots and have returned to using my old Korkers.
