Overall a great jacket- got this as a non-bulky shell alternative to my Patagonia Stretch Latitude which fit a little big without layers underneath, and the Bear Claw fits well- just a little too much space in the chest. I would like to wear as a rain shell around town too- just not as slim cut for a medium as I would have expected since the Cloudveil "JH Series" is supposed to be a more athletic fit.

I have mainly used this jacket while fly fishing and in rainy conditions. This jacket performs as you expect it to. Great range of motion and the large pit-zip vents are great when needed. You can also fit more into the pockets that you may think at fist glance. This jacket works well as a wading jacket.

This is a great jacket for the price from Sierra Trading Post. If I had paid full retail of [$] I might not be as impressed. Make no mistake though, this is an awesome jacket and well worth what it costs on here. It might be as good as my Patagonia SST. Maybe. I am well satisfied and would highly recommend it. I had it on in a heavy rain in humid 65 deg. weather yesterday. I stayed dry and cool. I like it so well that I ordered the pants last night.
