Cloudveil Cache Creek Jacket (For Women)

This lightweight jacket was precisely what I was looking for to use for spring cycling. I do wish it had pit zips, or some mesh in that area. Overall, it was a worthwhile purchase.

Lightweight, already proven for xc skiing, cycling, casual travel when I need to pack light. Not going to win any style contests with the old school color and design. The function and price can't be beat. My ski buddy liked it so much she bought one, too!

First I will start by saying that the color and material is fabulous. I got the olive green. The only thing I don't like about this jacket is the fit. I'm 5'2" with a 33" chest. The jacket looks super bulky in the chest area and fits well everywhere else. It kind of looks like it was made in 1992. If you have broad shoulders or a large chest the fit would probably be great. Regaurdless, I wear the jckat all the time. I use it as a middle layer between my base layer and jacket when I go snowboarding. It is thin, warm, and has the additional pockets I need. It packs down very small and would be great to take camping and hiking.

This coat is great for running or biking on days when there is light moisture or it is cool.

This is a travel jacket for my 13 year old daughter for an East Cost trip. Very light weight and packable. Good for stuffing into a backpack. It doesn't have a hood and that would have been nice, but overall very pleased. It seemed to run small I orginally ordered a med but had to sent it back for a large that fit fine.

Jacket was a gift. The sizing runs small. Order one size larger.

I'm tall & the sleeves are long enough -- yay! Lightweight & good for running and biking; can layer underneath in cold weather. Pockets are a bit odd (the front pocket faces out towards the hip instead of in towards the front, & another pocket runs across the back); not sure yet if I like them yet.

I bought this for runing in the rain, but thought it would be stretchy material; it is not. The liner is separate from the body of the jacket - attached at the shoulder seams only - and I found that irritating. Maybe good for casual wear & light rain, but not what I was after.

Liked the look and feel of this lightweight versatile jacket, but the fit is odd. Quite tight around the bust (I always wear a Medium and have plenty of room, with my baby bossom), and comfy around the hips (which is where I normally anticipate too much snugness). The reach-across yourself pocket arrangement does not work for me, and I would prefer a hood on a jacket llike this. I am sending it back.
