Cloudveil Cool Shorts - UPF 40 (For Women)

I had high hopes for these shorts. I had read that they ran small, so I ordered 2 sizes bigger. That didn't even come close! Sent them back. Too bad- they looked great!

I use this short trail running. Light weight. Lots of pockets to store keys, food, pepper spray, ect.

I own a pair of these shorts purchased from another retailer- and love them. Was really excited to see them on a great sale here on STP... Bought same size, color- and when arrived, TOTALLY different short with a built in belt, higher waist, smaller fit. NOT good. Note that STP mentions "styles vary"- but not pictured is the alternative short to the one in the photo- and the difference is DRASTIC. Too bad- these went promptly back- def. not what I wanted or was advertised! BTW, I'm 5'10, usu. wear a sz 6, in Cloudveil usu wear a 10- I'd have needed a 12 in this style to fit properly.

I do dog agility and am in the heat quite a lot. These shorts are fast drying and don't feel soggy when I'm working. They are quite comfortable. I normally wear a 6, but ordered these in an 8 and a 6. The 8 fits perfectly, while the 6 is a bit snug and short in the stride. I recommend ordering up a size unless you fit the smallish end of a size.

They look great but I can't even get them on! I ordered them 2 sizes bigger than what I wear after reading they run small. The size 8 had a 26 inch waist, and the built in belt is bigger than the waist itself.

I'm normally and 8, had to return them, got the 10, Still too small, but I can't justify shipping them again...probably give them away to someone who wear a 6! Runs ridiculously small. Too bad, because otherwise they would've been fine.

The material is nice, soft, feels durable. I wear an 8, am wearing a 10, could wear a 12 even. Someone buy these people a tape measure.

I bought a 4 (which is what I normally wear), but they were too short in waist and tight. Returned for a 6. They fit, but legs are a little wide. If you have thicker thighs/bottom, then they'd be great. Comfortable, just not that stylish.

Had to return due to fit.

I am a little disappointed with this pair of shorts. I have a similar pair of Cloudveil shorts but a different cut. This pair is a size bigger than my other pair but this pair feels smaller in the waist. The way the back pockets are cut (at an angle) is not flattering to anyone with a round bottom.
