    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought this skort thinking that it was the same nice, light, stretchy fabric as the cloudveil capris I love to hike in, that are the same color. It was not. The skort isn't bad, but to me, anything with no stretch is not very hike-able. With the extra layers of the fabric involved in a skort, it's also not that light for hot weather (the undershort is the same stuff as the outer). Not sure why I would want this skort instead of a regular breezy skirt in the city, or a stretchy capri for hiking. Returned it.

    I thought the outer "skirt" fabric would wrap around the shorts, but it stops just at the outer edge of the right thigh in front, and the left thigh in back- which reveals the shorts underneath every time I took a step. Too odd looking for my taste, although the skort felt comforable.

    I was really surprised at how comfortable and light this skirt is. It's perfect for my Floridian climate. I wear an 8 usually. This is a generous 8. I may order another in a 6 to see the difference. It won't stop me from being comfortable in the 8 however,,,,

    I like it overall except for two things. It wrinkles and has to be ironed before wearing, not really want I wanted. Also, it sort of flares out a bit at the bottem, it looks much straighter in the photo. I didn't bother to return it, but I wouldn't buy it again.
