“I bought this because I was looking for a durable soft shell and thought the price was too good to turn down. I wasn't too fond of a gold jacket, but it's actually a pretty tame honey brown. It has been up and down some rugged peaks in mid-winter back country Alaska, and also works great for cross country skiing. After a good deal of abuse and several trips through the laundry, it still looks brand new; mud and blood wash right out. Wind resistance is superb. Streamlined, yet allows adequate layering.”
