Cloudveil Inertia Peak Jacket - Soft Shell (For Men)

I like the jacket okay. Color, cut and fit make it appropriate for wear in casual environments and as a warmer (spring and maybe early fall) soft shell. I have some pants made from same material by Cloudveil and love them. Howver, the cut in the mid section is almost big enough to shove a basketball in so size down, maybe? And the weather resistance on this jacket is for the 30-40+ degree range. I have other soft shells I will be using when the weather is below freezing

This is my second jacket from this company. Everything seems right with it!

I really liked the jacket, but the medium was way too big for me. It is a very light jacket, good for high intensity activities, but doesn't offer a lot of warmth. If you need a bit of weather protection for snowshoeing/XC skiing, it would be great. Just remember to order one size down.

I am not sure how to use this product. If someone has a use for a water resitant layer that is about as insulative as a shirt -then they should buy this product.

Don't buy this if you eat bratworst and Budweiser but do nothing to work it off - you'll still be cold when you wear it.

Great product if you know what you're getting. Lightweight, but durable & versatile. It's not going to replace your ski jacket & you'll be disappointed if you're expecting something warmer (like an Arc'terx Easyrider, Hercules, etc.), but it's a nice additional piece to have in the arsenal for warmer days. Very comfortable and easy to move around in. One thing to note is that, due to Cloudveil's "boxy" sizing, the jacket wears larger than the size marked by almost a full size. 5'11", 200lbs ..went with a medium and it fits perfectly, although could use about another inch or so in length ideally. I take a large in everything and was reluctant to size down, but I'm glad I did. Cloudveil medium fits approximately like an Arc'terx or Mountain Hardwear large.
