“After year of having a men's version there are no surprises wth the womens version. It is durable, versatile, wind and weather resistant but not intended to be wind or water proof. Great weight for shouler season hiking or backpacking. The large chest zip pockets are functional for hiking and packing but for daily use are not as convenient. If your intention is for daily ue consider these pockets. The original soft shell jacket is still top notch after many years and new competitors.”
