    The soft shell fabric is great; just the right amount of stretch, it is breathable and wind blocking. The pockets are well thought out and functional. The size is true. They are well made and are another example of the high quality garments that I have come to expect from Cloudveil. Great for hiking/climbing and not just fishing.

    The fit is great but what I love most is the fabric. It's stetchy light weight soft shell fabric so it is very durable for climbing over rocks. I use this pant for wet wading and the fabric seems to dry instantly. I am going to buy another pair.

    I purchased these for backpacking. I like a sturdier pant than the typical nylon convertible. They were too long for me at 33" so I had them hemmed. I lost a couple of inches on the side zip but oh well. This is the only convertible soft shell on the market at this time. Great buy!

    Great pants. Stretchy, durable, and water resistant. There are lighter weight and more breathable pants out there, but most are not as durable/stretchy with great fit, intelligent zipper placement. Also, the inseams are long enough so I don't feel dorky looking with short 70s style shorts when the legs are zipped off. Highly recommended.
