“Great Fabric, Poor Cut”

“Schoeller Dynamic is the star of this jacket, the cut is functionally criminal. The shoulder articulation is poor, unlike their other superior designed soft shells like the Rayzar or Serendipity. The sleeves are short also, so it's a double wammy for me when reaching.... the sleeves run up to my forearms. I wish Cloudveil would redesign this to a cut like the Serendipity(which I find functionally perfect), as the Dynamic fabric is truly wonderful and has a higher temperature range than Dryskin. Dynamic stretches and repels wind and rain better than any softshell material I've tried. No fabric is perfect, as they are all a compromise in either stretch, wind or water resistance. Bottom line: like the fabric, dislike the function of the cut.”
