Cloudveil Switchback Schoeller® Jacket - Soft Shell (For Women)

This jacket was not useful at all. There was no lining on the Scheoller material (really) making it paper thin. While nice looking, I am not really sure what it is good for, maybe a barbecue in the summer on a cooler night? Pretty useless for the backcountry. Surprising because Cloudveil tends to make really nice technical gear.

I own two of these jackets and never thought I would see at this price; This jacket is 3 season - spring to fall -can wear dark colours in summer and still be cool - allows wind to sift through liking a cooling system. It is very durable, easy care, excellent sport or travel jacket. Consistent sizing; true to size.

Great looking jacket. Thinner than i thought. No insulation but nice fit, stylish and very comfortable. Love it and would buy another if they had a different color in my size.

Military tests have shown that Schoeller makes a great fabric, but it's really stiff and I don't like the cut/fit of this jacket. Sent it back.

I purchased this jacket because of the Schoeller fabric construction. This jacket was nice but not warm. The sleeves were somewhat longer than expected. The color red was attractive and stylish to look at. However, the fabric was not fleecy inside like other soft shell jackets. The one thing I dislike about this jacket is that when worn unzipped in light wind condition, the white color pocket lining often show revealing white seams and stitching inside.

I ordered a large, and it was so small I think maybe an extra large may have worked. Seemed true to lenght and arm length was nice. If you plan on ordering, order 2 sizes larger.

It was to large, should have order one size smaller. However, all of my other jackets from this company are large.

I thought it would have some insulation, but there is no lining or anything just a shell. That with the fact that it really had no shape to it made me decide to return the jacket.

I am 5'8" and bought a Large in black. Sleeve length is O.K., but not if you want to bicycle with this jacket. I bought it for an all-around, casual jacket that I could wear anywhere--around town, on a hike, while running. It fits that bill. Details on the jacket seem mostly well thought out, though access to the side pockets is somewhat awkward given their position: they're way out the sides and start about 2" below the armpit. But the pockets are roomy and I can put wallet and keys and checkbook and iPod in them. Chest pocket is great for the cellular phone.

This is the jacket I have been looking for. It looks nice and is very functional for cool Colorado summer evenings, spring and fall.
