These are not tough to get into as some other reviewers report. I wear a size 9 1/2 shoe and bought the Medium. They WILL NOT pull on like a pair of socks or stockingfoot waders. You have to turn them inside out down to the heel. Then put your foot all the way in and pull the rest of the bootie over your foot and ankle. Once on, they are pretty comfortable for a neoprene bootie.
Getting them off takes a bit of effort but just grab the top and turn them inside out as you peel them off. This is a little harder than putting them on but no big deal at all.
I have kind of skinny legs so the seal at the top is not as snug as I would have preferred. Normal sized legs would probably have a snug seal. This is only important for keeping gravel and sand out, especially surf fishing from a sandy beach. For trout streams, it probably won't matter much.

Size was marked extra large 11 - 13 and supposed to go over wader booty. I have a size 11 foot and could just put it on my bare foot. No way was going to go over the wader booty.

Once on, the Gravel Gaiters are comfortable and sturdy. I used them this past weekend when taking out my pier for the winter. Excellent in function and form.

These seem to fit very well. Despite the reviews about being hard to get on and off they were OK. Turn them inside out to get them on and roll them onto your foot. A little tight the first time but fine after that. Can't wait to test them in New Zealand trout fishing next year. I bought them go with my Korkers sandals. I'm a size 11.5 I bought the gaiters as an XL and the sandals size 12 everythings seems to fit well.

As mentioned these do run small. I was able to squeeze my foot into them after a couple of minutes of struggling (I wear a size 13 and ordered the XL). After hiking all day in these wet wading my feet were pretty sore. I'll probably give them another try and hope that they stretch, they seem pretty well made and thick for when the weather drops off.

I bought these for whitewater canoeing; haven't tried them yet but they seem like they will work well. For those having trouble getting them on, I found I had to turn them about 3/4 of the way inside out. Then I slid my foot in and gradually rolled them right side out over my foot. If you do this they go on fairly easily and fit well.
