These are lightweight yet look durable. We have not put them to the test yet, but they look like they will be perfect!

Answer As listed these have zip hand pockets and back touch fasten pockets.

Answer Yes. The left one is the huge "Pack Pocket" to fold the pants into, I suppose. The right pocket is normal sized. Both are zippered. You do not have access to pockets on whatever you're wearing underneath these pants. The waist has enough stretch to reach into your inner pockets. There is also one right rear pocket with velcro fastener.
