    I live in NYC. Really need a pair of boots to travel on the subway, go up and down stairs. It is perfect commuter boots to get to and from the office. If you have normal width feet, I'd recommend you order half size larger.

    I have these boots in the dark brown, and love them, so I wanted to buy a pair in black while they are still available. I bought other black boots but none that fit as well in the leg and looked as sleek as these do. I am just between a size 5 1/2 and 6, and I bought one pair in each size, so I can wear them with stockings or thick socks.

    I got these as a comfortable boot to wear to work in the winter. They look nice, and the quality seems high, but I'm glad I ordered a half-size too big, as they feel narrow in the foot and small in the calf area. On the other hand, they feel too loose in the heel and ankle areas. I haven't decided whether to return them.

    These boots fit fine everywhere except in the ankle area. They were very loose in that area. In the calf area they were nice and tight (I don't have small calves so that can't explain why the ankle area was so large. And they were not all that comfortable compared to others I have with the Nike footbed!
